I ♥ green

I ♥ green, in every sense of the word - the color green; the eco green; the green of nature and, of course, the money kind! I chose a couple of the things that are, or have been, in my shop, to illustrate my love of the color. The two felted clutch bags, are made from a beautiful colored yarn, called 'kiwi' from Lamb's Pride. The headband is a cute felt flower on a two tone band, and is my daughter's hair accessory of choice, it really is a winner, brightens up any kind of quickly brushed got-to-get-to-school hair!

The last bag I chose to show you is the greenest of all my bags, though not necessarily in color! It is made from an 100% wool men's sweater, that was felted, resewn, then appliqued with the fern design. It is recycled; repurposed; upcycled, however you want to describe, and is a definite favorite of mine!

And, of course, none of these pictures would be the same if it wasn't for the beauty of the green from nature in the background! Nature inspires me daily, even in Winter, and is a part of everything I create. It's also something I make sure is a large part of my children's life, we must never let them lose that connection!
