I love this block! It's called the Stripy Circles Block, and I saw it on the
Block Party! blog,
here. It's a lovely block to do, you get all the fun of the strip piecing, but also the drama of a circle block, with none of the difficulty! You have to give this one a try, and imagine how awesome a whole quilt like this would be?

Happy Thursday! ♥

What a spectacular block! I can't even do a sqare one, let alone one in a circle!
Love it! It would be great as a potholder . . . wanted to let you know there is a thread to sign-up for the Potholder Pass 2 right now on Flickr. See you in the am and love this circle block!
Great block. I am really enjoying the links you have been sharing--thanks.
I love fabrics and color, but have never been very good at a sewing machine. Maybe, one day, I'll get a new one, and that might help!
Oh what a fun quilt that would make!
Great use for scraps! So cool!
love it! It's so dramatic!
I love this block -- its so cute. I make blocks like this too, but instead of appliqueing them I inset them into the block. I have yet to make a quilt like this, though, and really need to! If anybody wants, a tutorial for my method its at
